Ravn Design
The brand and website for my own web design studio, built from scratch with a raven-inspired identity, animated micro-interactions, and a lightweight, framework-free build for fast loading.
Too many local businesses have a website that doesn't do them justice: slow, hard to find on Google, or not true to the business. Ravn Design had to prove the opposite on its own site first.
02The approach
A brand identity built around the raven: perspective, clarity and vision
Static pages built with Eleventy, so every page loads instantly
GSAP animations on desktop, lightweight CSS animations on phones
Five pages in English and Dutch, with SEO structure and FAQ and service schema markup
A contact form protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, with messages stored in Supabase
03The result
Google Lighthouse scores the site 99-100 for speed on phones and 100 for accessibility and SEO. Pages weigh around 150 KB and load in about two seconds on a mobile connection.
